These are beliefs that a company stands for. They help you make difficult decisions and be confident in your resolutions. When you are faced with a problem, you can refer to your brand values and ensure your final decision upholds these values.
Attract customers: Defining brand values makes it easier to story tell and connect with customers. It is important to make your values clear as 77% of consumers buy from brands that share their values.
Consistency: When working with defined core values, you can focus on the core message within every brand touch point. “Companies with well-defined, consistent branding achieve an average 91% higher year-over-year increase in customer retention rate than those without brand consistency.”
Build brand loyalty: This is important for a product like mine as a subscription service requires commitment. If a customer resonates with the values of the product, they are more likely to return.
As I learn more about my audience, the more I understand what they value and what they would want out of this product.
Brainstorming:
These are all definitely values that my brand will follow. However, I want to focus on 4 or 5 main ones. This way, it’s easier for customers to remember and resonate with and for me to direct my energy towards.
