Problem statement: Finding a suitable driving instructor and learning how to drive is a stressful process. It is often unorganised and a lot of time and money is spent poorly.
Overview
Students can find a suitable driving instructor in their area through instructor profiles. These would include, for example, their availability, location, reviews, pricing etc. Students will also have profiles with their availability, how much experience they have had, if they want to drive automatic/manual, special learning needs etc.
Once they find an instructor, the product keeps you organised throughout the process. You can book available time slots in your instructors calendar and grab last minute cancellation slots. You can pay for lessons, pre-pay for block lessons and receive refunds where required. This means you know how much you are spending on lessons when trying to stick to a budget. You can also change your driving instructor if the match isn’t suited.
It can keep track of your progress and the areas you have covered. This holds instructors accountable for preparing you thoroughly. It’s also a reminder to them of what they have taught you and makes it easier for them to plan future lessons. Students can access the lesson plan beforehand and look at learning materials relating to their upcoming lesson. Meaning, there will be less lesson time spent explaining and more time spent driving.
Potential AI integration: Camera’s could be installed into the car to record your lessons which can later be accessed by the student. It can then review their strengths, weaknesses and mistakes made so they can improve. The AI feature would analyse their driving in the recording and offer feedback e.g. be more wary of your speed.
