The product “Far Far Away” is all about…

This is the initial brand and feeling that I have gone for. I want it to feel calm, relaxing and mystical. With the title “Far Far Away” I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of reading books like they are being transported to another world.

So, what problem is this trying to solve?…

Problem statement

With the development of new technology children are reading less and aren’t reaching their expected reading level for their age group.

Statistics and cause

1. By 11, you are about to enter secondary school and are expected to have a certain reading ability but a lot of kids are beginning to struggle with this.
2. I do believe one of the main reasons children aren’t reading as much is due to technology. (will research more) Access to devices at younger ages and developing a dependency on them. It provides unlimited entertainment which has a negative affect on attention spans. This makes reading seem difficult and unappealing.

Impacts

These are all the things that can be affected if children don’t read regularly
