Children's Reading Habits Survey

I created a survey on children’s reading habits. It is aimed at parents with children aged 5-12. Originally, I was going to create a separate survey for children, however, I realised that I would be asking very similar questions. Therefore, I will only do this if I feel it is necessary. The parents are likely to be the ones to introduce this product to their children.

Although my target audience is children aged 7-12, I wanted to include children as young as 5 in the survey. This way, I can see if there are problems with reading beginning to develop even earlier, particularly, when technology interferes.

Objectives

• Find out how confident children tend to be in their reading skills
• Find out how often children are reading and if they enjoy it
• See if any common learning/reading difficulties appear that I could address in the product.
• See if there is a link between having regular access to a smart device and the amount of time a child reads
• Find out the most common smart device children use so I know what device I should make the application for
